Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups white flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups quick oats
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, combine the white flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the butter and sugar mixture and mix well.
Stir in the quick oats and peanut butter until well combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
