- 1 cup pitted dates, chopped
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1 cup white flour, sifted
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cream
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a mixing bowl, combine chopped dates, oats, sifted flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add white and brown sugar to the melted butter, stirring until sugar is dissolved.

Stir in cream to make a smooth batter.
Drop spoonfuls of batter onto a greased cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the cookie sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
