- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon table salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup swiss cheese, grated
- 1 cup frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry

Directions
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees F to keep pancakes warm after frying.
In a blending bowl, combine 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon table salt, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Blend these dry ingredients for a few seconds until mixed.

Fold in 1/2 cup grated swiss cheese and 1 cup thawed and squeezed dry frozen spinach into the batter with a spatula, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat on the stove.
Scoop 1/4 cup of pancake batter for each pancake, pouring it into the skillet. Fry each side until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
As pancakes are cooked, transfer them to a wire cooling rack set in a baking sheet, and keep them warm in the preheated oven.
Serve the Swiss Cheese and Spinach Savory Pancakes warm as a delicious side dish.
