  • 4 slices bread
  • 1/2 cup hummus
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 tbsp pine nuts
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder


Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Spread the pine nuts onto a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for 5 minutes until golden brown.

Toast the bread slices in a toaster until golden and crispy.

Spread a generous layer of hummus on each toasted bread slice.

Place the sliced tomatoes on top of the hummus.

In a small bowl, mix the chili powder with a pinch of salt and sprinkle it over the tomatoes.

Sprinkle the toasted pine nuts over the tomatoes.
