Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 banana chips, crushed
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.

In a bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon table salt. Set aside.

In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream together 1/2 cup softened butter, 1/2 cup white sugar, and 1/2 cup brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Add 2 eggs, one at a time, to the sugar and butter mixture, beating well after each addition.

Mix in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 1/2 cup peanut butter into the creamed mixture.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Fold in the crushed banana chips and 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips into the batter.

Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
