Ingredients

  • 1 Bourbon, shot
  • 1/2 dry vermouth, shot
  • 1/2 triple sec, shot
  • 1 lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 simple syrup, shot
  • 1/4 orange bitters, teaspoon
  • 2 Italian maraschino cherries, for garnish

Directions

In a blender, combine 1 shot of Bourbon, 1/2 shot of dry vermouth, 1/2 shot of triple sec, the freshly squeezed lemon and lime juice, 1/2 shot of simple syrup, and 1/4 teaspoon of orange bitters. Blend the mixture until well combined and the drink becomes frothy.

Pour the cocktail mixture into two separate serving glasses equally. Garnish each glass with an Italian maraschino cherry.

Tart and smooooth

I make this cocktail often - it's become a household favourite. Recommend doubling the recipe for 2 people. The citrus measurements are confusing, but I use 1/2 ounce each of lemon and lime juice (or 1 ounce each when doubling the recipe).
